Families face a daunting task when trying to find childcare for their school-age youngsters with special needs. Despite the mandates of the Americans with Disabilities Act, many regular childcare programs don't include children and teens with disabilities.

This video-based training program is designed to make care more accessible by demonstrating practical strategies for successfully including youth with special needs in regular childcare programs.

This program has been demonstrated to be effective at:

• increasing care providers' knowledge of inclusionary strategies
• enhancing positive attitudes about inclusion
• addressing staff concerns about inclusion.
