Here is a way to make sense of (and deal with) some of the negative feelings that adopted children can make their parents feel, and the anger and frustration that adoptive parents can feel toward their adopted children. Understanding this dynamic; as well as, other key parent-child interactions unique to adopted children and their new families, can help turn an adoptive family's crisis into an opportunity for true communication and strengthened commitment.
