Three adoptees, one adopted domestically and two adopted internationally, will share their personal experiences of being found and discuss the related issues of control, fear, anger, joy, and confusion. The panel will explain why it is so important for those searching–as well as professionals, triad members, and agency representatives–to know the many phases and emotions of being found and to understand the varying lengths of time it may take to process this experience.
