Since 1999 some of the focus on adoption has shifted to the rights of siblings to know each other and to be placed together, of lesbian and gay families to be respectfully considered as adoptive parents for waiting children, and of children to be placed with fit and willing kin. Articles in this book shed light on those and other trends and topics in adoption.
